Airtm is known as a peer-to-peer (P2P) currency exchange platform. The peer-to-peer concept refers to the fact that two users must participate in the transaction for the exchange of currencies. One of the users participating is known as the advanced user. This type of user has credentials granted by Airtm to "accept" transactions created by regular users. The credentials are associated with a series of basic conditions for each payment method, which means that a user can have as many advanced user credentials as payment methods as long as they meet their basic conditions. In this article, we will share these basic conditions with you.
The following conditions are required to be met to become an acceptor in Airtm:
You have verified your identity in Settings > Verification.
You have had an Airtm’s account that is at least 14 days old.
You must complete the advanced user questionnaire we send you by email upon initially meeting the requirements to become an acceptor for a payment method.
As a regular user, you must complete a number of transactions for each specific payment method. Each payment method has a specific number of completed transactions. Review the table below.
We want to share this table with the different payment methods and the number of transactions you need to complete to become an Acceptor. We recommend that you refer to this period as the requirements may change depending on the supply and demand of our marketplace.
