For PayPal Direct Deposits to work correctly, there's one key rule you must follow before sending any funds.
Which email do I need to use?
The primary email on your PayPal account must match exactly the primary email on your Airtm account. A secondary email registered in Airtm is not enough — it must be the primary email on both accounts.
What happens if the emails don't match?
The amount will not be credited to your Airtm account and your funds could be permanently lost. There is no way to recover them once the transfer is processed with an incorrect email.
What happens if I send funds directly to Airtm's PayPal account without having the feature enabled?
The amount will not be credited to your Airtm account either, and your funds could be permanently lost — even if your Airtm email matches your PayPal email. Only use this feature if you see the PayPal Direct option enabled in your account.
⚠️ Important: Never send funds directly to Airtm's PayPal account if you don't have the feature enabled. Funds sent by mistake cannot be recovered.
