Direct Bank Withdrawal (India)

1. Before you start

To unlock the direct bank withdrawal option, users in India must complete the KYC verification with Onramp.money.

To complete your KYC Verification:

  1. Go to Settings in your Airtm account.

  2. Open the Verification tab.

  3. Under Special Features verifications, start your Onramp.money KYC verification and follow the on-screen steps.


2. Prerequisites

  1. Local Indian phone number
     Only users with a verified Indian phone number in their Airtm account can access this feature.

  2. KYC verification approved
     You can check your KYC status under:
     Settings → Verifications → Special Features.

  3. 1st-party withdrawals only
     Funds can only be withdrawn to personal bank accounts under the same name as the Airtm account owner.


3. Starting a withdrawal

  1. Log in to your Airtm account (web or app).

  2. In the main menu, select Withdraw.

  3. Choose country: India.

    • If your KYC is complete, you’ll see a note confirming that you can now use Direct Withdrawals.

    • If your KYC is not yet complete, this is where you’ll see the option to start or finish your verification with Onramp.money.

  4. You’ll then see two withdrawal methods:

    • Peer-to-peer (P2P)

    • Onramp.money (Direct Bank Transfer)

4. Selecting Onramp.money

  1. Select Onramp.money as your withdrawal method.

  2. Enter the amount in USDC you want to withdraw.
     Airtm will instantly display the USDC → INR exchange rate so you can see exactly how much you’ll receive.



  1. If this is your first time setting up a direct withdrawal, add your bank account details in this order:

    • Bank name

    • Alias: a name to identify your bank account.

    • Bank account number

    • IFSC code

  2. If you already have a saved payment method, just select it.

5. Confirming the withdrawal

  1. Double-check all details before confirming.

  2. Confirm the transaction to send your withdrawal request.

  3. You can track it under Activity, and you’ll also receive an in-app notification when it’s completed.

6. Processing time

  • Most transfers are completed within minutes, but depending on your bank, the funds may take up to 2–3 business days to appear in your account.

7. Limits and support

  • Limits: The same Airtm withdrawal limits apply. Check them under Settings → Limits.

  • Conversion: Onramp.money automatically handles the conversion from USDC to INR at the rate shown before confirmation.
