Peer-to-peer transfers are requests from other users that you can accept to complete their transaction. In exchange for your service, you will receive favorable rates that reduce the cost of moving funds to and from your available balance.
How this transaction type is displayed
Transactions are described from the perspective of the requesting user. A withdraw funds request appears with the DEPOSIT label in your advanced board, because completing it will increase your USDC balance while the user converts their USDC into local currency.
Step by step
- Log in to your Airtm account.
- Click Accept requests in the left panel.
- Accept an available request by clicking Select.
- Send the funds from your bank account or external processor to the requesting user account.
- Confirm the transfer by adding the transaction ID or a screenshot of the transfer confirmation.
- Wait for the user to confirm receipt and the operation to finalize.
Special considerations
- Only accept this type of transaction after confirming you have the available balance in your account.
- Never confirm the transfer without actually having completed it.
- Do not send funds to third-party accounts. The payment must go to the account the user registered in Airtm.
