How to receive funds in your USA Virtual Account

Your USA Virtual Account accepts two types of transfers from US bank accounts: ACH and Wire. Here is how each one works.

What does the sender need to transfer funds to you?

Regardless of the transfer type, share the following details from your USA Virtual Account with the sender:

• Account holder name
• Routing Number (ABA)
• Account number
• Bank name and address

Make sure the details are correct before sharing them — an error can cause the transfer to be rejected or returned.

ACH transfers

ACH transfers are the most common and affordable way to receive funds from a US bank account. You can receive them in two ways:

From your own US bank account

• Maximum amount per transfer: $100,000 USD
• Processing time: between 1 and up to 5 business days

Third-party transfers

• Who can send? Any individual or business with a US bank account.
• Maximum amount per transfer: $2,000 USD
• Processing time: between 1 and up to 5 business days
• Cost to sender: typically free or a small fee depending on their bank

Once credited, funds appear directly in your Airtm balance.

Wire transfers

Wire transfers are ideal for larger amounts or when you need speed.

• Minimum amount: $1,501 USD
• Maximum amount: $100,000 USD
• Exchange rate: $1 USD = 1 USDC
• Processing time: 1 business day

Important: Transfers below $1,501 USD may be delayed or rejected. Always inform the sender of the minimum amount before initiating the transfer.

Fees may be adjusted periodically. You will always find the current fees in the app before confirming your transaction.

What can I do with the funds once they arrive?

With money in your Airtm account you can:

• Convert it to your local currency via the Airtm P2P network or through our direct withdrawal options
• Send it to other users
• Withdraw it using your preferred payment method in your region
