How do I make a payment in Brazil?
In Brazil you have two options:
- Scan a QR code: use the Airtm app to scan the merchant's or recipient's QR code.
- Enter a Pix key: enter the key provided by the recipient. This can be a phone number, email address, document number, or random key.
In both cases, you'll see the exact amount before confirming.
How long does it take for the payment to go through?
Payments process instantly and usually complete within seconds.
Can I see my payment details?
Yes. You can check your payment history in the Activity menu inside Airtm. No separate receipt is generated.
Can I cancel a payment once it's been initiated?
No. Once you confirm a payment, it can't be cancelled. Make sure to review the amount before confirming.
