How do I directly add funds using my debit card?

Airtm provides users direct add funds from their bank account's debit card to their Airtm wallet via Wyre, our banking software provider.


Benefits of moving funds directly via debit card over peer-to-peer include:

  1. Safe and reliable transfers. 
  2. Speed (only takes 30 minutes).
  3. Reduced costs. 
    1. U.S. Debit Card: 2.9% + $.30, $5.00 minimum
    2. Non-U.S. Debit Card: 3.9% + $.30, $5.00 minimum


To add funds to your Airtm wallet directly via debit card:

  1. Once logged in, select Add/Withdraw in the left side menu and indicate that you would like to add funds.

  2. Select your select "More payment methods" and "Debit Card" then your country. Direct debit card adds are supported in the following countries.

    1. Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, France, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Israel, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, United States (except states New York, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Connecticut, Texas, Hawaii, Vermont, Virginia), Vietnam.

  3. Input the amount you would like to add to your Airtm balance and under the Direct tab, click “Select".

  4. You will be taken to a new window hosted by our partner Wyre for you to confirm amount, input your personal and debit card information, and authenticate your transfer by inputing a code sent to your phone and bank statement.

  5. Once you have confirmed the transfer in the Wyre hosted window, return back to Airtm. Your transaction will be completed within 30 minutes, crediting funds to your Airtm wallet.

* U.S. users can transact up to $500 weekly, $5,000 yearly.

*Non-U.S. users can transact up to $1,000 weekly, $7,500 yearly.
